Everything in my life has pointed me back to one simple truth: purpose changes everything.

I was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the son of a minister who showed me that a meaningful life isn't measured by what we achieve, but by how we love, serve, and invest in others. After losing my dad as a teenager, I began asking a question that has shaped my life ever since: What kind of life is worth living?

That question led me to the United States Army. While in basic training, our nation was attacked on September 11, 2001. I later deployed twice to Iraq, including during the opening stages of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and during what we now call “the surge”, while logging more than 2,000 hours as a Black Hawk helicopter crew member. I've had the privilege of coaching a national championship football team and continuing my passion for aviation as a pilot. Every chapter has reinforced the same truth: purpose gives us the courage to lead, the resilience to endure, and the perspective to keep moving forward.

Today, my greatest calling is being a better husband and father to four incredible children. They've taught me that life isn't measured by titles or accomplishments, but by what we've learned, how we've grown, the people we've loved, and the legacy we leave behind. Even life's hardest moments can refine us, strengthen our faith, and prepare us to live with greater purpose.

I've experienced the heartbreak of losing family and friends to suicide. Those losses taught me that everyone is carrying a story we can't always see, and that authentic connection can save lives. When we're willing to share our stories, they have the power to restore hope and remind others they're not alone.

My Christian faith is the foundation of everything I do. I believe every person is created by God with purpose and on purpose, and that He can redeem every chapter of our lives for His glory and our good.

Today, I speak to organizations, teams, churches, and communities through keynote presentations, storytelling workshops, and breakout sessions that blend authentic stories, practical insight, faith, and humor. My goal isn't simply to inspire people for an hour—it's to help them discover the courage, clarity, and connection they need to live every day on purpose.
